I've been reorganizing my photos, and I found this one which I took while in the Keys last winter. I love the soft appearance of the Pelican's feathers.

Like everywhere in the Southeast, we have had lots of rain and my agapanthus (finally) started to bloom... so, it was an opportune time to take a few dew drop photos... cliche, but still fun.

More Nature Photos From My Neighborhood

These immature night herons hatched late spring, but mostly we didn't see them. We heard them (they are loud) and saw their leftovers (lots of little fish on the sidewalk).

But one day they were out in front of our house in the rain (none of those photos came out very well), so I started looking for them. Soon after on July 4th, I saw them in their nesting tree, and got my camera. Here are two of my favorite shots plus an extra of the little fish on the sidewalk.

Today while Sarabeth was at a friend's house, I decided to grab my camera and take some pictures on my street. These were the best of what I shot today. I've just finished a three week nature class which I really enjoyed. I'll start on a portrait class this week. Check back soon for portraits!
